Tiger Woods Car Accident

PGA star Tiger Woods has reportedly been injured in a car accident.

Woods, in Orland, Florida was near his home when the incident happened.

According to CNN, the mayor of Windermere, Florida has said that Woods, had been released from Hospital, with a CNN affiliate saying he suffered facial lacerations.

The accident happened when Wood’s car hit a fire hydrant which then led him to hit a tree as he pulled out of his driveway. Woods driving his 2009 Cadillac sport utility.

He was then taken to Health Central Hospital, although officials at the hospital did not have record of him being a patient there. Originally it had been reported that he was seriously injured.

According to the highway patrol the crash is still being investigated with charges pending, although it has been confirmed that there was no alcohol involved.

Woods, who has just returned from playing in Australia, owns a $2.4 million home ( according to Orange county records) which is situated in an exclusive subdivision of Isleworth near Orlando.

Woods born Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods was born in 1975. He is one of the most successful golfer’s of all time. Currently the number 1 in the World.

In 2008 he was the highest paid professional athlete in the world, earning some $110 million in winnings and endorsements.

He has also had more career major wins, and career PGA Tour wins that any other active golfer.
